A Note on Upland Birds

All upland birds go through a feather molt during the beginning of their respective season. The later the season a bird is harvested, the nicer the feathers. I do not recommend mounting birds harvested in September, or at least bringing a spare bird for parts. Heavily molting birds may be subject to pose restrictions, to hide feather loss.

Chukar, Quail, Grouse, Ptarmigan - $400

Highly recommended to bring two birds for any grouse mount!

Sage grouse - $550

(Due to feather loss on sage grouse, please bring 2 birds for a quality mount!)

Turkeys - At this time I do not take turkeys. Sorry!

Habitat

Habitat will be cost of materials + $65 an hour for labor
